The day will kick off with a welcome speech by

keynote speakers include housing specialist
, a representative from Trading
Standards who will give advice on how to avoid
being scammed, and
Director of Property Services.
Winners of the annual
will also be announced, along with a
prize draw. The annual general meeting
for RACS will also take place.

In September, our board recommended that
our two South residents’ groups, Residents
Action Committee (RAC) and A Resident Voice
South (ARVS), should pilot joint meetings.
Since then, the members of these groups
have voted and agreed to merge into one single
organisation to be called Residents Action
Committee South (RACS).
Their aim is to help more residents to have their
say on the services and support we offer, which
will be underpinned by a new constitution.
They will continue to work closely with emh
homes to ensure we are meeting our duties and
providing the best services to residents.
