On 16 March, over 50

residents and partners

gathered for the North

event, held at The

Arena in Ilkeston. Chan

Chief Executive, spoke

to delegates about the

impact of recent

government legislation

on emh homes and


A session by the Parliamentary

Outreach Service brought the

drama of Westminster right into

the room, with a lively session

about how the audience could

get involved with the

democratic process both

locally and nationally in order

to influence future decisions

that affect them.

The whole event was well

received by the residents who

took part:
