Congratulations for co-regulation

We have had a successful first year of working

with you under our newstructure of co-regulation,

the process where tenants get actively involved

in improving our services.

To celebrate the great work you have been doing

across emh group, we held a special awards dinner

at the Hilton Hotel, Castle Donington.

More than 60 residents and service users from

across the group joined us for a drinks reception

and three course dinner. Chan Kataria, emh group

Chief Executive, welcomed everyone with a

speech about how co-regulation has played a big

role in many of our successes over the past year.

Before the event, we encouraged you to nominate

the residents and community projects that you

thought deserved some recognition.

The results came in, and the winners were:

Young Tenant of the Year Award:

Anne-Marie Higton

Teamwork Award: The Residents Action

Committee Blaby District (RAC)

The Most Outstanding or Innovative Project

Award: The Enable Forum, which provides a

voice for Enable’s service users

Outstanding Contribution Award:

Mal Stocks (front cover).

Mal, from Whetstone, Leicestershire, sits on

several co-regulation groups and works tirelessly

to help people in her community. She said:

“It is such an honour to win the

Outstanding Contribution award –

and what a surprise!
